    CVP seeks a highly talented Graphic Designer to join our corporate growth and proposal development teams. The primary responsibility of this role is to generate and manipulate proposal documents using Microsoft Suite software, primarily Microsoft Word and Excel, while applying very strict proposal styles to the documents. A professional with strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual excellence will thrive in this role. 

    The Graphic Designer is a document formatting expert and collaborates extensively with proposal development team members to support the building of highly structured and compliant documents. This person will be responsible for all aspects of proposal desktop publishing and production, including template design, development and maintenance, proposal page layouts, and placement of tables, charts and graphics, ensuring styles are consistently and accurately applied to proposals, forms, documents, and other materials. In addition, the Graphic Designer will support the proposal team with text editing for grammar and usage. More advanced technical editing skills a plus. 

    Major Areas of Responsibility
     
    • Conceptualize graphic concepts with minimal guidance
    • Produce high quality and compelling graphic products that support deliberate and quick turnaround proposal efforts
    • Develop graphics that respond to written technical requirements
    • Collaborate with internal business professionals to develop proposal graphic designs that clearly articulate a winning strategy
    • Ensure that all proposal submittals comply with the visual identity system guidelines and RFP formatting requirements
    • Create and execute graphics for proposals, marketing documents, video and web
    • Design UI graphics, develop UI code (HTML/CSS/JavaScript), and maintain web sites for a variety of CVP Marketing and Communications initiatives, including WordPress web sites
    • Collaborate with proposal managers, writers, coordinators, SMEs and graphic designers to produce well-designed proposals and documents, applying standards and styles consistently throughout each document
    • Support proposal document finalization, auditing figure references and bookmarks in documents
    • Prepare documents for final delivery, including:
      • Hyperlinking and the creation of PDFs and CDs for softcopy submission
      • Excel spreadsheet formatting for printing
      • Proposal print production, including preparing tabs and proposal binders
      • Preparation of Final Proposal Revisions, including red-line and conformed versions
    • Consistently format proposal presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint so they comply with an RFP’s formatting requirements and is visually consistent with the corresponding proposal document design


    Position Requirements
     
    • 4 years of experience supporting government proposals
    • Expertise conceptualizing graphic concepts from concept through completion with minimal guidance
    • Strong initiative to produce high quality and compelling graphic products in a timely manner
    • A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
    • Highly collaborative communication style and detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills
    • Strong work ethic to work independently and efficiently
    • Ability to be flexible in terms of work schedule, such as some evenings and weekends, to meet proposal schedules
    • Bachelor's Degree or 7 years of relevant experience 


    Desired Skills
     
    • Proficiency in Adobe Animate (Flash), Illustrator, HTML5, CSS3, Action Scripting
    • Experience with JavaScript/JQuery, PHP, Bootstrap, and WordPress
    • Experience working with UI Design and Motion Graphics
    • Text editing skills
    • Adobe LifeCycle Designer and Dynamic PDF forms
