Technical Project Manager

    CVP seeks a highly talented Technical Project Manager to interface with Government Senior Management healthcare personnel and customer agency representatives, and lead the overall management of a successful project.

    Major Areas of Responsibility
     
    • Formulate and enforce work standards, managing technical personnel, and creating and enforcing enterprise-wide client solutions for Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) vulnerability assessments, and scanning and continuous monitoring
    • Review work discrepancies, supervise contractor personnel and communicate policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates
    • Lead overall technical and project team performance and ensure that the project team completes projects
    • Provide the overall management of the project direction as related to functionality, schedule, and budget
    • Provide periodic reports to the Government’s Project Officer
    • Manage recruiting for the team, including status reporting and risk management
    • Manage escalation of issues that cannot be resolved by the project team


    Requirements
     
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Business or related field
    • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or Electrical Engineering
    • Minimum of 15 years of experience, of which at least 10 years must be specialized in project management and security expertise
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
    • Security-focused specialized certifications, such as the CAP or CGEIT
    • Thorough understanding of Information Security Technical and Compliance requirements, such as FISMA and NIST Special Publications
    • Experience developing a technical project from inception to deployment across large enterprises
    • Expertise in the management and control of funds and resources using complex reporting mechanisms
     
     
    Desired Qualifications
     
    • PhD in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or Electrical Engineering
