Master Scheduler

    CVP seeks a knowledgeable Master Scheduler to lead the scheduling of tasks and manage CVP’s Defense Health Scheduler team. Help develop, maintain, and update the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), which include schedules for its entire portfolio of programs, projects, and initiatives with a team of analysts, experts, technologists, and data scientists from CVP. The professional in this role will join an innovate information technology organization and lead a highly collaborative quality team.
    Major Areas of Responsibility
    • Demonstrate knowledge of the DCMA 14-point Schedule Assessment
    • Manage and lead a team of 3 Schedulers, fostering a collaborative team environment with strong communication
    • Produce, review, evaluate, and analyze all clinical support projects with an integrated IMS
    • Support and assist with the development, review, evaluation and analysis of the projects across the PMOs
    • Facilitate and/or support required scheduling meetings - agenda, minutes, and artifacts to provide the stakeholders with increased visibility of planned dates and a forum that ensures scheduling risks and issues are efficiently communicated and effectively mitigated
    • Support and train all clinical support project managers with scheduling best practices and guidance on managing a standardized scheduling template
    • Provide project-level and program level scheduling support
    • Attend project level meetings, such as milestone meetings, to capture pertinent information for the IMS
    • Attend program level meetings to capture pertinent information for the IMS
    • Attend weekly Enterprise IMS scheduling meetings and brief status of IMS depicting any major milestones, accomplishments and/or concerns
    • Participate in Analysis of Alternatives (AOA) to assist with identifying an Enterprise IMS tool
    • Attend Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings, perform analysis of optional tools, and provide documented feedback
    • After tool selection, assist with implementation of the tool across the organization
    Required Skills/Qualifications
    • Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust government security clearance
    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Management or related business field
    • 5 – 10 years of previous experience as a Scheduler
    • Strong knowledge of the DCMA 14-point Schedule Assessment project management guideline
    • Leaderships skills
    • Previous experience managing and mentoring a team of Schedulers
    • Excellent written and communication skills; collaborative attitude
