Program Manager

    CVP is seeking a highly talented Program Manager to support the enterprise engineering effort under the US Army Product Lead, Enterprise Computing (PL EC). The professional in this role will provide overseeing advisory services to support the data center discovery, analysis, consolidation, migration, and modernization of the Army’s overarching application portfolio.

    Major Areas of Responsibility

     
    • Manage project schedule, cost, staffing, work activities, and government customer engagement
    • Organize, direct and manage all aspects of contract operational support functions involving multiple complex and inter-related projects
    • Provide overall direction of program activities
    • Manage and maintain contractor interface with the senior levels of the customer’s organization
    • Consult with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables, ensuring conformance with program and project task schedules and costs and contractual obligations
    • Establish and maintain technical and financial reports to show progress of projects to management and customers, organize and assign responsibilities to subordinates, and oversee the successful completion of all assigned tasks
    • Manage risks, identify and resolve problems, keep the WAWF/EDA Program Management Office informed of progress and issues, and manage the contractor staff
    • Administer a system of internal controls for all management, administrative, and system engineering tasks. Management of these operations shall include integrating common systems of internal controls for the proposed effort and implementing processes that are risk- based, cross-functional, and cost effective to optimize and streamline operations
    • Provide project management to establish project governance; develop and implement project plans, establish communication and escalation procedures; support change control processes; monitor, control and report project status, schedule and report performance; conduct regular project reviews; manage project budget and ensure quality of deliverables


    Position Requirements
     
    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Active Secret security clearance issued by DoD/Army
    • Understanding of large-scale DoD or other federal data center consolidation/migration/modernization efforts
    • Experience managing cloud migration efforts and other large IT projects involving cloud enterprise computing environments
    • Knowledge of full SDLC, EA standards/frameworks, and engineering methodologies
    • DoD experience in general
    • IT program management experience, specifically managing large-scale enterprise IT or related systems engineering/enterprise architecture efforts


    Desired Skills
     
    • Experience in Army (or Army PL EC specifically)
    • Knowledge and familiarity with ADCCP
    • Familiarity with Army IT capital planning and investment process
    • Familiarity with the Data Center Optimization Initiative, open Government Initiatives and similar external drivers
    • Familiarity with Army Software Marketplace (ASM)
    • Familiarity with IT acquisition process/lifecycle
    • Familiarity or experience with Army stakeholders such as AAMBO, HQDA CIO/G-6, NETCOM, ARCYBER
