Specialty Engineer

    The Specialty Engineer will provide highly technical support services to CVP's Navy client. The professional in this role will collaborate with other team members to make a significant impact on this exciting program.
     
    Major Areas of Responsibility
     
    • Demonstrate expertise in scalable computing systems, utilizing Cloud storage, hosting, virtualization, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux
    • Demonstrate expertise in SQL DBA, VB, .NET, Java, OpenVMS (Open Virtual Memory System), Enterprise Service Bus (specifically Mirth, IBM Web Sphere, and BOXI), data sharing web services (including XCA, XDR, DICOM, FIHR, and WADO), DEVOPs implementation (including development, configuration, testing, and deployment automation), and network fundamentals (including load balancers, switches, circuits, and NIPR/SIPRNET)
    • Demonstrate in-depth understanding and hands on experience with application interoperability related to integration and working with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
       


    Requirements
     
    • Must be eligible to obtain a government security clearance
    • Experience with scalable computing systems utilizing Cloud storage and hosting, virtualization (Citrix (CCA, CCAA, CCEE, CCIA) and VMWare (VCP, VCAP, VCDX certification tracks)
    • Experience with Infrastructure and Application Software Virtualization, Red Hat Enterprise Linux
    • (RHEL) RHCE certification
