Health Data Analyst

    The Health Data Analyst will provide measurement and analysis support services to CVP's Navy client. The professional in this role will collaborate with other team members to make a significant impact on this exciting program.

    Major Areas of Responsibility
     
    • Establish and maintain measurement objectives that are derived from identified information needs and objectives
    • Provide feedback for refining and clarifying information needs and objectives as necessary
    • Maintain traceability of the measurement objectives to the identified information needs and objectives
    • Establish and maintain as a SDD Process Asset, such as SDD Measurement Specification Forms that specify measures to address the measurement objectives, Data Collection Procedures, Data Storage Procedures and Analysis Procedures – SDD Process Asset
    • Facilitate periodic measurement & analysis forums, such as quarterly SDD Review & Analysis. Analyze Measurement Data Agendas/Slides/Handouts/Minutes/Action Items and Artifacts
    • Review the initial results with relevant stakeholders; refine criteria for future analyses
    • Communicate analysis results to keep relevant stakeholders apprised of measurement results on a timely basis
    • Assist relevant stakeholders in understanding the results of the presentation material
    • Review the data to ensure their completeness, integrity, accuracy, and currency
    • Store the data according to the data storage procedures; make the stored contents available for use only by appropriate groups and personnel
    • Provide support for On-Demand Analytics for SDD branches and PMO to include capability to process Big Data, such as unstructured data sets with large volume, requiring complex cleaning, linking and matching
    • Provide specialized experience in designing, developing, implementing, analyzing, and maintaining programs in languages such as R and Python
    • Develop a comprehensive SDD Predictive Modeling Framework that provides leaders and practitioners combined strategic and tactical orientations to predictive analytics
    • Gather data, identify predictors, formulate statistical models, validate models as data becomes available


    Requirements
     
    • Must be eligible to obtain a government security clearance
    • Expertise in statistical modeling, programming languages (such as R, Python), and machine learning
    • Familiarity with database concepts (such as data warehousing, data mining, SQL, NoSQL, OLAP) and experience working with business intelligence tools (such as COGNOS, MicroStrategy, Tableau, and Lumira)
    • Ability to support cost-effective adoption of big-data-and-analytics-driven business models that fuel productivity and innovation
    • Experience with one or more of the following: SDD PEO, SDD Clinical Support PMO, SDD CBIS, and SDD Chief Engineer (Program Support Branch)
