Subject Matter Expert – Supply Chain Management

    CVP is seeking a highly talented Subject Matter Expert – Supply Chain Management to provide subject matter expertise to the Defense Medical Logistics Enterprise on topics, including (but not limited to) strategic planning, readiness, medical treatment facility logistics management and information technology.


    Major Areas of Responsibility
     
    • Responsible for high-profile projects with direct impact on core operations and processs
    • Provide senior-level, high-quality planning, leadership, technical, analytical, and program management expertise in DOD and Federal Medical Supply Chain management to support overarching strategic Defense Medical Logistics Enterprise goals
    • Exercise medical logistics expertise in the areas of Patient Safety, cost effectiveness and
    • efficiency, optimized sourcing and standardization, and integrated end-to-end supply chain
    • management by developing market & business intelligence
    • Process/data improvements and research opportunities into adjacent market segments
    • Drive strategic initiatives and capabilities to maximize our core business
    • Provide decision-ready, military/Government/commercially relevant research and analysis, and written assessments and reports
    • Support and lead key elements of strategic planning process, including business analysis, business trend and forecasting, business scenario modeling and financial implications of key projects over 3-5yr time horizons
    • Use the ITIL organizational structure construct and the Agile software development methodology to produce actionable plans for business process improvement with enabling information technology capabilities
    • Support a culture of data-driven decision making, via the increased commitment to and utilization of data
    • Drive projects aimed at strengthening and leveraging innovation capabilities
    • Demonstrate ability to communicate progress to stated, expected timeline and goals for a varied group of stakeholders through the use of innovative strategic communication tools
    • Effectively present and make persuasive arguments to convince key leaders to take action, negotiate effective solutions between individuals and partner with customers throughout Military and Federal organizations
     
     

    Requirements
     
    • Ability to obtain a Secret government security clearance
    • Previous experience successfully leading the development and implementation of high-visibility supply chain and/or logistics IT projects within the federal sector
    • Previous experience in DOD and Federal Medical Supply Chain management
    • Certified in ITIL foundations (or equivalent)
    • Previous experience leading in an ITIL organizational construct
    • Previous experience with ITIL, logistics, and planning
    • Bachelor’s degree or significant relevant professional experience
