Data Analyst

    CVP is seeking a highly talented Data Analyst to coordinate with the Project Manager and/or Task Lead to conduct all phases of analysis planning, design and execution for a federal healthcare Premium Stabilization Program (PSP) team. The professional in this role will analyze volumes of data for system requirements, contribute in all phases of SDLC, conduct UAT/review results, and ensure implementation meets operational needs.

    Major Areas of Responsibility
    • Conduct analysis of data related to business areas
    • Coordinate with Project Manager and/or Task Lead to plan and design the analysis and then execute the plan
    • Assemble, prepare, and analyze data for system requirements and other needs
    • Participate in all phases of SDLC (requirements, design, development, and testing) as a product owner
    • Work with the IT group from inception of requirements through final UAT and ensure operational needs are met by the implementation
    • Use technical discretion in selecting methods and techniques for determining approaches to data analysis
    • Provide technical guidance, operating assistance, and counsel to clients
    • Provide quality analysis support of data pulled by other analysts

    Position Requirements
    • Demonstrated experience in data collection and analysis for system requirements
    • Knowledge of all phases of SDLC
    • Possess attention to detail to ensure accuracy of data
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
    • 2 - 4 years of experience in data analysis or related business area
    • Strong ability to learn new tools and to provide thought leadership in an effort to become a highly relied upon client partner

    Desired Skills
    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Background in the healthcare industry, such as CMS or Medicare or Medicaid
    • Previous experience with Salesforce
    • Works well on a team; collaborative and detail-oriented
