    CVP is seeking a highly talented Application Programmer to serve as the Application Programming Lead for support of network infrastructure devices; VOIP and AV infrastructure systems; hardware systems interoperability; virtual system management; data storage, control, retention, and continuity of operations; database administration and application development; software testing and systems interoperability; and other specialized project IT support.

    Major Areas of Responsibility
    • Analyze functional business applications and design specifications for functional areas such as finance, accounting, personnel, manpower, logistics, and contracts
    • Develop block diagrams and logic flow charts
    • Translate detailed design into computer software
    • Test, debug, and refine the computer software to produce the required product
    • Prepare required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation
    • Enhance software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency
    • Provide technical direction to programmers to ensure program deadlines are met
    Position Requirements
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Management
    • Must have an active Secret government security clearance
    • At least seven years of experience in project leadership and management of software development projects
    • Experience with the software development process, software development life cycle, computer and application programming experience, software architectures, functional and logical interfaces to include software and hardware interfaces, and software testing to include experience with HP Fortify
    • Programming experience with major programming languages such as Oracle, SQL, C++, C#, and experience with higher level software development environments such as .NET and Visual Studio
    • Experience in information system design, including application programming on large-scale DBMS and the development of complex software to satisfy design objectives
    • Technical knowledge in network management and telecommunications maintenance, system management, system configuration management, helpdesk/IT services, software application development and management, disaster recovery and critical infrastructure continuity and contingency planning, cyber security, risk management and information assurance
    • DoD application development and programming experience
    Desired Skills
    • AMRDEC experience – knowledge of AMRDEC information systems and related IT, business operations, technical operations, and risk management
    • Army application programming and development experience
    • Familiarity with automation, data/telecommunications, visual information, programming support, audio/visual, database management and support, data input/output devices, surge/Uninterrupted Power System (UPS) devices, and cloud services/virtualization
