    CVP is seeking a highly talented Program Manager to provide oversight and guidance for the IT operations planning, design, implementation, and integration of all infrastructure, hardware systems, and software under AMRDEC.

    Major Areas of Responsibility
    • Responsible for organizing, directing, and managing all aspects of contract operational support functions, involving multiple complex and inter-related project tasks that often require managing teams of contractor personnel at multiple locations
    • Provide overall direction of program activities
    • Manage and maintain contractor interface with the senior levels of the customer’s organization - serve as authorized interface with the OCO, COR, Government management personnel and AMRDEC representatives
    • Formulate and enforce work standards, establish and maintain schedules, review work discrepancies, supervise staff and communicate AMRDEC policies and goals
    • Consult with AMRDEC and project personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables, ensuring conformance with program and project task schedules and costs and contractual obligations
    • Establish and maintain technical and financial reports to show progress of projects to management and customers, organize and assign responsibilities to subordinates, and oversee the successful completion of all assigned tasks
    • Participate in working groups, IPTs, and meetings to address AMRDEC activities
    • May delegate responsibilities to Area Managers who may also interface with the Government OCO, CORs, Government managers and customer agency representatives on behalf of the Program Manager
    • Assume the initiative to identify and expand Army business opportunities in Huntsville and surrounding Army localities
     
    Position Requirements
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Management
    • Must have an active Secret government security clearance
    • 10 years of experience in organizing, directing, and managing all aspects of contract operational support functions, involving multiple complex and inter-related project tasks that often require managing teams of contractor personnel (80+ staff) at multiple locations
    • Experience in managing, developing, collecting, and maintaining formal Army and DoD network configuration and Information Assurance (IA) documentation
    • Experience with the DoD RMF processes and DoD IA requirements
    • Well-versed in the latest technologies
    • Strong experience in client engagement and relationship management, including business development activities
     
    Desired Skills
    • AMRDEC experience – knowledge of AMRDEC information systems and related IT, business operations, technical operations, and risk management
    • Relationships with AMRDEC or Army senior leadership
    • Familiarity with automation, data/telecommunications, visual information, programming support, audio/visual, database management and support, data input/output devices, surge/Uninterrupted Power System (UPS) devices, computers, servers, cloud services/virtualization, networks, and communication devices
    • Some technical knowledge to support oversight of the following tasks: network management and telecommunications maintenance, system management, system configuration management, helpdesk/IT services, software application development and management, disaster recovery and critical infrastructure continuity and contingency planning, cyber security, risk management and information assurance
    • Experience qualifying, pursuing, and attaining new business opportunities in DoD, both through organic growth opportunities on-contract, and other new opportunities within the client domain
