CVP is seeking a highly talented Testing Architect to support enterprise certification and user acceptance testing related enterprise data components (i.e., BI and ETL components), data vaults, data marts, and data warehouse and associated components for the USDA.
Major Areas of Responsibility
Develop Test Strategy for the Data Warehouse Project in TCO
Prepare and implement data verification and testing methods for the data warehouse
Manage test environment requirements
Oversee the test resources and ensure compliance with test policies
Provide management reporting on test progress, test outcomes, success rates, issues, and risks
Ensure that deployed release and the resulting services meet customer expectations, and verify that IT operations are able to support the new services
Monitor status of assignments, and reviews work for completion/quality
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, System Engineering, or related field
Minimum of 7 years’ of experience architecting a data testing solutions
Minimum 7 years’ experience with complex SQL queries and data preparation
Minimum 5 years’ experience supporting Data Warehousing methodologies, and testing approaches
Testing experience using ETL and BI tools
Experience and knowledge utilizing HP ALM to manage test case execution and defect reporting
3 years’ experience working in an Oracle environment
3 years’ experience with OBIEE and ODI tool suite
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Experience working with technical developers and the business community
Certified Testing Foundation Level (CTFL)
Desired Skills
Project Management Professional (PMP) certified
