Quality Assurance Analyst

    CVP is seeking a highly talented Quality Assurance Analyst to assure that established processes, procedures, and program standards are followed for CVP's team supporting a defense health agency client. The primary role of the QA Analyst is to support program operations by checking adherence, improving processes, and management of training/roll-out of program standards.
     

    Major Areas of Responsibility
     
    • Develop and maintain annual and quarterly projections for all activities by function
    • Provide monthly In-Progress Reviews, consisting of an overview of completed activities and updates to quarterly/ annual projections by function
    • Provide Monthly Status Report of completed activities
    • Establish and maintain the Quality Management Plan document
    • Plan, implement, and deploy organizational process improvements based on a thorough understanding of the current strengths and weaknesses of the organization's processes and process assets
    • Formulate, translate and operationalize enterprise level strategy using various techniques, such as Balanced Scorecards and Portfolio of Initiatives
    • Demonstrate knowledge of multiple process improvement techniques, such as Business Process Re-Engineering, LEAN, Localized Value Stream Analysis, Kaizen/Rapid Improvement Event and Just Do it
    • Assess the suitability of the technique based on project complexity

     
    Position Requirements

     
    • 1 year of experience or more as a QA Analyst in an information technology program / systems development project
    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
    • Some working knowledge of Microsoft Project
    • Strong ability to display diplomacy and professionalism in dealings with the contractors performing system maintenance, enhancements, and project work when collecting, clarifying, and confirming project-related information as needed
    • Strong 360 degree situational awareness and ability to exercise appropriate judgment (assertive but non-confrontational)
    • High levels of adaptability and agility
    • Conflict resolution, negotiation and persuasive skills
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Ability to motivate and energize teams
    • Ability to hold resources accountable to deadlines and dates
    • Highly analytical; attention to detail is very important
    • Excellent facilitation skills; ability to schedule meetings, keep them on track, drive to desired outcomes, and make good use of time in a busy, dynamic environment
