Sr. Systems Analyst

    CVP is seeking a highly talented Sr. Systems Analyst to provide various types of systems analyst support.
    Major Areas of Responsibility
    • Provide strong written and oral communication skills
    • Communicate with end-users to gain understanding of system requirements
    • Create and maintain business, functional, regulatory requirements, and system/change request documents
    • Create and maintain IT software specifications
    • Create design documents, ream meeting matrices, draft agenda/meeting summaries
    • Ability to assist with unit and integration testing software
    • Create software/configuration management documentation
    • Assist in arranging, documenting, and facilitating meetings with stakeholders (Change Control Board)
    • Assist in business research pertaining to questions raised by the development team
    • Asist in the creation of materials to be presented to stakeholders and upper management
    • Assist with the coordination of User Acceptance testing
    • Provide customer support to users of the developed system
    • Update and maintain Microsoft Project schedules, spreadsheets, or schedules in other formats with actual deliverable dates and status for the work assigned
    • If applicable, participate in Agile SCRUM activities such as daily standup, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings
    • Provide customer support to end-users of the developed system
    Position Requirements
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
    • 5-7 years of system analysis experience
    • Active Public Trust security clearance issued by U.S. Commerce/ Census Bureau
    • Excellent written and verbal communication
    • Previous experience in drafting technical design documents, release notes, agendas, meeting summaries, and tracking action items
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio
    • Positive attitude and patience
    • Work well within a team environment and remain flexible
    Desired Skills
    • Previous Census and/or federal agency consultant experience supporting design reviews, system change requests, facilitation of CCB and assist in team meetings
