Chief Architect

    CVP is seeking a highly talented Chief Architect to re-architect and implement enterprise architecture for DOS that currently encompasses 34 applications from a client-server environment to a hybrid SOA implementation. The Chief Architect will provide overall direction, guidance, and oversight of Systems Architecture and Systems Engineering Tasks. This role will lead and facilitate Research, Evaluation, and Prototyping Activities.


    Major Areas of Responsibility
     
    • Manage senior level technical relationships, technology strategy and projects
    • Provide thought leadership and help define “blueprint” for CA’s technical architecture to support mission needs  
    • Identification and insertion of next generation technologies
    • Support the development of high level system architecture, continue development of reference architecture documentation, and develop innovative, sustainable data architecture approaches
    • Support the integration and interoperability of multiple system components


    Position Requirements
     
    • Active Secret government security clearance
    • ITIL v3 Foundation (required), ITIL v3 Expert (desired)
    • Experience with Oracle
    • Proficient with Microsoft's tools and technologies (i.e., Sharepoint, Office) and Remedy
    • Experience with COTS/GOTS and Open Source Software (OSS) integration
    • Experience with SAFe lifecycle framework
